RE-ELECT LAURIE TRIEGER

Lane County, District 3

You Can Count on Me.

For nearly 40 years I’ve been actively engaged, showing up, and building relationships by listening and working alongside others to help move our communities into a brighter future with a focus on equity, resiliency, health, and safety; for people and the planet.

These times call for tested, trusted, experienced leadership in order to bring the change we need and deliver real results for Lane County.

I’d be honored to have your support to retain my seat and continue building on the successful work of my first term.

ABOUT LAURIE

Raised in Philadelphia, Laurie has lived in District 3 since 1987. The mother of two adult children, she’s put down deep roots in Lane County and is now watching her twin grandsons grow up in this cherished place she calls home.

Prior to being elected in 2020 she had a 25+ year career as a nonprofit professional at a number of local organizations such as FOOD for Lane County; The Lane Coalition for Healthy Active Youth; Mt. Pisgah Arboretum; and Sponsors
Inc. She sat on Lane County’s Budget Committee from 2014-2018 and was a community volunteer on Equity Advisory Boards for both 4J schools and Lane County. Laurie was a lead planner for Project Homeless Connect, and is a life-long advocate for reproductive freedom, serving several years as a volunteer on Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon’s Leadership and Advocacy Team.

She currently serves as a Governor’s appointee to the statewide Opioid Settlement Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery Board; and is a volunteer board member with Seeding Justice, a statewide philanthropic foundation building collective power in the pursuit of justice and liberation for all communities.

Laurie was motivated to seek public office in part because of concern for the health and wellbeing of future generations.

"I do this work because it matters to me on a personal level, and because I feel accountable to future generations, including my own children and grandchildren. I’m driven to do what I can to create healthier, safer, more just communities. We must do better by our neighbors. While this has always been true the scale of these challenges is only growing. These times call for compassion, sustained attention, courage, and proven experienced leadership in order to bring the change we need."
